Proffitt’s Garage Doors is a locally owned, family-run garage door company based in Beechgrove, TN. Built on years of hands-on experience, we specialize in garage door installation, spring jobs, and opener work for homeowners and businesses across Middle Tennessee. Our focus stays on quality workmanship, clear communication, and standing behind everything we install.
We don’t operate from a formal mission statement, but the way we work makes our priorities clear. Every job comes down to doing it right the first time, standing behind what we install, and showing up when we say we will. Quality matters. Communication matters. And taking care of the people who trust us with their homes and businesses matters most of all.
Proffitt’s Garage Doors started with a phone call from a buddy who lived about an hour away. He suggested giving garage doors a try, even though our owner didn’t know anything about the trade at the time. After giving it a shot and finding he genuinely liked the work, he took a job closer to home with another company to keep learning the craft.
After years of hands-on work and growing confidence in the trade, he took a leap of faith and started his own business right here in Beechgrove. Before garage doors, he spent his time in landscaping and contract work, which built the kind of work ethic that still shows up on every job today. What started as one person trying something new has grown into a family-run business serving homeowners and businesses across Middle Tennessee.
What makes us different is simple. We stand behind our work, we show up when we say we’re going to be there, and we treat every property like it matters. We’ve heard from too many customers who’ve been let down by contractors that disappear after the job is done. That’s not how we operate.
We’re a small, hands-on team made up of the owner, Harley, and Miracle. Right now the owner wears all the hats, with Harley working alongside him on the jobs and Miracle stepping in to support the business as it grows.
We bring about 8 years of hands-on garage door experience to every project. Our team is licensed and bonded in the state of Tennessee, and we’re a LiftMaster certified installer for opener systems. That combination of real-world experience, proper credentials, and manufacturer training means you’re getting workmanship you can count on.
